A lifetime builder, Pat McCormick began his career in the construction industry at the age of sixteen when he joined his father to work on large scale bridge projects. He has since worked on almost everything from Clean Drinking Water Systems for remote sites in Kenya to Remote Delivery Avalanche Artillery Systems for Ski Resorts. Pat holds Civil Engineering and Business Degrees from Gonzaga University as well as 20 years of construction experience. The bulk of his building career has been in single-family homes in a mountain environment with an eye for efficiency and sustainability. Now at home in one of his favorite ski towns, he brings these skills together to offer Custom Home Design Build Services.
Janette Hofmann graduated with her Interior Design degree from Bassist College in Portland, Oregon and then headed north to Alaska. Janette spent 15 years in Ketchikan working for Native Corporations in Southeast Alaska designing and managing construction projects including retail stores, galleries, health clinics, drugstores and a lodge.
Janette then headed back to her roots in Bend, Oregon where she continued working in design and project management. For the past 20 years Janette and her twin sister have worked several months a year in Kenya where they started a non profit. During this time they rebuilt dozens of schools, supported over 400 orphaned children through secondary school and built a children's home.
She recently moved to Sun Valley and joined the Highline team last fall spearheading interior design and project management. On her time off Janette enjoys skiing, hiking, camping and spending time with her boyfriend and his two sons.
An Alaska native, Pat moved to the Wood River Valley to pursue Nordic Ski Racing. Since that time he has been a staple in the Skiing community here. He is well-respected for his work as an Athlete, Ski Patroller, Avalanche Forecaster, and Guide.
In addition to skiing, Pat also has a great deal of mileage in the construction world. From Log Homes to Custom Cabinets Pat has a great deal of experience in the building industry and is quick to offer creative solutions. He is a highly skilled finish carpenter, a powerful jobsite leader, and a pleasure to be around. It's no surprise that he has been invited back again and again into some of the same iconic Sun Valley Estates for decades.
After 32 years in Jackson Hole, 20 of which I worked as a carpenter, I moved to the Wood River Valley. There is so much to do here that I don't have time to fit it all in. Hiking, fishing, biking, backpacking, and of course skiing of all kinds, alpine, nordic and backcountry. I enjoy working at Highline because no matter how big or small the job is, we always make sure to do our best work and finish up with a quality looking project.
